Hannah Fowler

Hannah Fowler is a dedicated and committed dancer, teacher, and passionate dance artist.

Born in Sydney, Hannah began dancing at an early age and progressed to full time training at Tanya Pearson’s Classical Coaching Academy at age 15.

Hannah then moved to Scotland to pursue further dance education and achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Dance with First Class Honours. It was during her time there that Hannah gained experience dancing all over Scotland with a touring ballet company, performing works such as Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.  In 2014 Hannah participated in the prestigious Genée International Ballet Competition in Antwerp, Belgium, performing onstage in the Theatre t’Eilangje.

After graduating, Hannah returned to Australia and began developing her career as a dance teacher and choreographer. Hannah finds joy in mentoring and educating young dancers, whilst sharing her experience and knowledge of the dance industry.

In 2018 Hannah moved back overseas to London, living as a freelance dancer and teacher. Living in the UK gave Hannah the opportunity to learn from and work with Europe’s best contemporary choreographers and practitioners, such as Rambert Dance, Hofesh Shechter and Gaga technique. Early 2020 Hannah was chosen to perform in a revived creation of Jenufer with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

Now back in Australia, Hannah is excited to join the BWA team and delighted to share her passion and knowledge with her students.
