Borja Bermudez

Borja Bermudez was born in Madrid and completed his training at the Royal Conservatory of Dance Mariemma under the tutelage of Rosa Naranj and Ricardo Franco before joining the School of the Hamburg Ballet. During his graduate years training with Kevin Haigen, Borja represented the school dancing in “Yondering” in Hamburg, Stuttgart and Berlin, and “Bach suite” in Canada and Paris. Borja joined the Hamburg Ballet in 2017. Since then, he has enjoyed many artistic and challenging roles such as Drosselmeier  in “The Nutcracker” , Flute/Thisbe in "A Midsummer Night's Dream”, Petrushka in “Nijinsky and Quadrille “Swan Lake” and solo roles in “Beehoven Projekt”, to name a few. He has worked extensively with Aleix Martinez in his works for Hamburg Ballett “Sonnetts” as well as performances for the ManNera Dance Company.
