Foot Strength
for Pre-Pointers
Many young dancers are looking forward to starting en pointe and perhaps many are now slightly disappointed that the wait will be a little longer…..do not fear! This is the perfect time to strengthen and prepare so that when the time for pointe shoes arrives dancers will be ready to go!
If you are looking to start en pointe later in the year, have recently begun en pointe or are wishing to maintain strength whilst out of the studio this course is for you.
We will address not only the strength required in a dancers feet but also the strength holistically in a dancers body to ensure pointe work can be executed safely, effectively and with grace!
This course will NOT involve pointe shoes and is NOT intended as a pre-pointe assessment. It is purely a strength and information course for dancers/teachers/parents who wish to gain insight and understanding into what is involved in pointe work.
Suitable for all ages and levels from 11yrs to adults with an understanding of ballet, posture and technique and at least 3 years dance experience.
Benefit from a small group in a live video setting where Laura will take time and care to explain and aid each student with their understanding, strength and technique.
