Martina Consoli
Martina Consoli was born in Catania (IT) and received her dance training in Florence at the ballet school of “Balletto di Toscana”, where an engagement with the associated junior company deepened her training. She gained her first stage experience dancing in choreographies by Eugenio Scigliano, Fabrizio Monteverde, Arianna Benedetti, Eugenio Buratti, Daniele Ardillo and Valerio Longo. This was followed by a Bachelor degree at Codarts Rotterdam, where she appeared in works by Jiří Kylián, Kyle Abraham, Ton Simons and Lóránd Zachar. During her fourth year of the program she completed an internship at "Tanz Luzernzer Theater" and had the opportunity to work with Georg Reischl, Bryan Arias, Fernando Melo, Sebastian Matthias and Po-Cheng Tsai.
In 2017/18 she was a guest at the “Graz Opera” and participated in “Meine Seele Hört im Sehen” by Jörg Weinöhl.
From 2018 until the present moment she has been a member of Ballett der Oper Graz, Austria. During these seasons she was involved in creations by Jo Strømgren, Andreas Heise, Beate Vollack, Jörg Weinöhl, Helge Letonja, Jaione Zabala
