Mia Zanardo

Mia Zanardo is a full time ballet student currently training with Hilary Kaplan and Archibald Mckenzie at Alegria Dance Studios in Woolloomooloo, Sydney.

Mia has competed in many prestigious competitions in recent years the highlights of which include: 2019 Genee International Ballet Competition in Toronto in which Mia received a Gold Medal, first place in the 2019 Asian Grand Prix in Hong Kong, Finalist and prize winner at the 2018 & 2019 Lucie Saranova Awards amongst many other accomplishments.

Mia has also been a proud Bloch Artist since 2018.

In 2019 Mia was part of the creation of a new ballet “Gold” by Simonne Smiles and has worked with esteemed choreographer Paulina Quinteros of Danza del Arte as well as composer Elena Kats-Chernin AO and Archibald winner Australia artist- Wendy Sharpe.

This year Mia was awarded first place in the Australasian Ballet Challenge before heading to Canada, Germany and England to take up Scholarships and audition invitations. Mia has been accepted into numerous prestigious international ballet schools and hopes to take up a position later in the year to pursue her classical training.
