dance workshops

BWA runs workshops in regional areas of Australia with the aim of bringing dance to you in an accessible and inclusive way. Our workshops are open to all experience and ability levels for adults and children.

We offer something for everyone in a creative and supportive learning environment with levels varied to best suit each individual.

All of our teachers are experienced dancers and teachers both in Australia and internationally with an enthusiastic approach and a genuine passion for sharing what we have learned ourselves.

At the conclusion of each workshop we hold a showcase for family friends, where we share some of what we have worked on during the workshop and present certificates and a few encouragement awards from our generous sponsors.

Springing into Toowoomba!

We are heading to Toowoomba QLD in September for an amazing spring dance workshop.

Natalie Foti is back from dancing in Europe and the UK and has made time to work with the dancers in and around Toowoomba. Mia Sfara, having completed a season dancing with Opera Australia in Melbourne is similarly excited to be part of our workshop.

All dancers in the area are welcome to attend. Darling Downs Adventist College is kindly providing their facilities and support for this workshop.

This is a fantastic opportunity for dancers to be taught by current industry professionals and gain an insight into the world of dance and to be inspired by the possibilities that lie ahead!

We will hold a little showcase at the end of the workshop on Monday afternoon.
